Healthy Recipe: Peanut Butter Banana Chocolate “Ice Cream”

Banana “nice cream” is the ice cream you get to call a healthy snack!


A candy reminder {that a} wholesome substitution doesn’t equal deprivation. This recipe is ridiculously easy and made with components you might be more likely to have already got in your pantry. Mix up a batch and maintain it within the freezer for a wholesome heat climate dessert. Or serve it in a cone at your kiddo’s subsequent birthday celebration. 


four massive bananas, damaged into small chunks, and beforehand frozen

1/four cup canned lite coconut milk

1/four cup 100 % pure peanut butter, unsweetened, no added salt (creamy or crunchy)

pinch of sea salt

1 tablespoon maple syrup

1/four cup mini darkish chocolate chips


Place the frozen banana slices and coconut milk within the bowl of a meals processor. Mix till easy, stopping to scrape down the perimeters with a rubber spatula as wanted. Add the peanut butter, pinch of salt, and maple syrup and mix once more to mix. Stir in chocolate chips on the finish.

Switch to a container with a lid and freeze till strong. Serve in a cup or a cone anytime—heck, you could possibly even eat some with breakfast!
